Parenting Support
Education for Healthy Futures
Parents receive support and education through
Parenting Support services. Healthy Connections
is a
voluntary, early intervention
program for families with children 0-3 yrs.
designed to reduce the stress of
coping with pregnancy, a new baby or
meeting parenting demands, with the goal
of eliminating the possibility of abuse
or neglect. The
Parent Infant Program
(PIP)
serves families in which either the
parent or child is struggling with
mental health challenges, offering
support from pregnancy through age
three. Services include parenting
education and support, individual
and family therapy, case management
services, case aid support, crisis
intervention and 24-hour
on-call availability. The Teen Parent Program is
designed to provide services and teach
parenting skills to pregnant and
parenting teens (up to the age of 21) in
their home. Services offered
assist teens with receiving proper
prenatal care/well baby
visits, as well as completion of their
education and obtaining employment. School-Based Services
offer ongoing counseling,
home, community and crisis intervention,
information and referral to community
services for students struggling to
complete their educations.
