Gryphon Place provides 24hour crisis support. If you are in crisis and it is after agency business hours, Gryphon Place provides crisis support and referral services. The organization's mission is to "connect people to information, resources and support systems to assist them in resolving crises and meeting life challenges".

The 2-1-1/HELP-Line provides crisis intervention and referrals to health and human service agencies in Kalamazoo County as well as to communities across the State of Michigan . Our Staff is highly trained in skills that empower callers to make life-enhancing decisions. We specialize in linking people to appropriate community resources.

Whether a person needs help locating a specific service or is having trouble securing basic needs, we can help. The 2-1-1/HELP-Line operates 24 hours a day—365 days a year. Calls are confidential and answered with respect, empathy and compassion. We are experts in suicide prevention and are fully certified by the American Association of Suicidology. We are part of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline network and meet national standards for Best Practices for Suicide Prevention Hot Lines.
